Teachers, Lucy Clark and Carol Lemke, are excited about the new year and all of the learning activities they have planned!

What a delight to identify the progress of our students in just the first two months of school! Great strides have been made in: separation from families, making new friends, listening to instruction, and learning language and communication skills.

Seasonal activities prevail. a tremendous response by 4's grandparents in celebration of Grandparents Day was enjoyed October 13th. Our 3's classes will celebrate grandparents on November 15th and 16th.

School pictures were taken the second week of October by Molly Needy Photography. Thanks, Molly, for capturing those sweet, beautiful smiles.

Sally foster fundraiser was "wrapped up" on Preschool Sunday, October 22nd. Delivery is scheduled November 23. Thanks to parents and friends for your continued support! Orders will be available for pick-up upon delivery.

It is always great to worship together, and Preschool Sunday, October 22nd was no exception! Thank you for joining us, so the students could share their musical praise with the BPC family.

Halloween parties in the classroom were October 30-31, and our "scary students" made their annual visit to Third National Bank.

The annual 4's Thanksgiving Feast will be November 20th. Parents and grandparents are invited to attend.

Christian Philosophy Of Education

The church related Preschool provides an environment of Christian nurture and love for young children and their families. As in other early childhood settings, the program is founded on current principles of child development and education. The program is a hands-on student centered philosophy of education. A checklist of goals and achievements will be included in the orientation packet. In the church related Preschool, there is the added dimension of the Christian faith. Opportunities are included in the program to hear about God, and Jesus, to respond to God's love in prayer and praise and to discover how to share God's love in meaningful ways with others. Children learn about festivals of the church such as Christmas and Easter, and the seasons from the perspective of their religious significance.

Enrollment forms are available in the church office. Enrollment is dependent upon submission of: 1) completed Enrollment Form, 2) $25 enrollment fee (non-refundable), and 3) 1st month's tuition. Tuition is set by the Preschool Board and is non-refundable. Enrollment is considered to be for a full school year. Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis.
