Small Group Ministry

Some might ask, why have a small group ministry at BPC? There is no simple solution for growing a healthy, active, and faithful body of believers. There are not simple, magic, or easy answers for growing or transforming the church. However, a thriving small group ministry will support living out the core values, mission, and vision of our church - and assist in evangelism and stewardship. Here are some of the reasons for investing resources into building a strong small group ministry:

Small group community is a primary felt need in America, let along our churches. We are so hungry for community and connection with one another. One of the greatest blessings that have come from small groups at Broadway has been the opportunity to get to know one another, and be known by one another.

Significant transformation can happen in small groups. Small groups are a wonderful tool for discovering and learning about discipleship.

Small groups can exponentially grow your church. People are searching for meaning and purpose in their lives. Small groups are not "just another thing to do," but a model for doing church. Small group ministry is the primary model found in the New Testament.

Small Group Ministry will become the primary means to evangelism in the future. Building relationships is the most non-threatening, natural way to connect with others.
